PNE sneak peek: Playhouses, princesses and those beloved mini-doughnuts

August 16, 2012 – Along the fair’s historic Miller Drive, seven children’s playhouses have been constructed as part of a forestry industry fundraiser, using B.C. lumber, architecture and construction. The playhouses, in various shapes — an airplane, tree house, teepee, pirate ship, building blocks, beehive, and funnel cloud — will be available for children to play in during the 17-day fair. The houses will then be sold to corporate buyers and donated to community centres and public spaces across the province. Read more…
