A renewable resource that’s also biodegradable and recyclable, Yellow Cedar, like WFP’s other products, has a gentle environmental footprint.

The Yellow Cedar WFP uses is certified to high international standards as being sustainably harvested and reforested, plus its natural oils mean that it resists decay and insects without chemical preservatives.

Like other WFP products, Yellow Cedar decomposes and naturally returns to the environment. This is in stark contrast to other building materials such as metal, cement, stucco and plastic that must be mined or manufactured from unrenewable resources and can spend up to hundreds of years in landfills.

As well, Yellow Cedar is known for its durability and longevity. It can last for hundreds of years, making it a beautiful and sustainable choice for generations to come.
