TFL 19, held by Western Forest Products Inc., covers roughly 170,000 hectares of land on west central Vancouver Island around Nootka Sound. The process of gaining approval for Management Plan (MP) #11 and the determination of a new allowable annual cut (AAC) for the TFL is underway.
Overview
Context
The Management Plan provides a general description of the TFL, a brief history, a list of publicly available planning documents that guide WFP’s operations, and a timber supply analysis of the TFL. The analysis provides information to assist the Chief Forester of BC in determining the AAC for TFL 19.
