LIFESTYLE CEDAR™ can be stained, or left untreated to turn a silvery-grey patina

Both Western Red Cedar and Alaskan Yellow Cedar can be allowed to weather naturally to a silvery grey look, or a wide range of stains and coatings can be applied to ensure maximum performance.
For best results coat all six sides before installation.
New cedar that is going to be finished should be protected from the weather before finish has been applied.
Allow product to acclimatize to the environment where it will be installed to avoid unwanted shrinkage or expansion.
Fasteners with corrosion resistance should be used. Hot-dipped galvanized or stainless steel.
Maintain your deck by keeping it free of dirt and debris.
Important Note: Never power-wash cedar because it damages the wood fibers.
