The roar of chainsaws and cheers filled the air in Port McNeill, as the community came together on May 31st to celebrate a cherished tradition — the annual Logger Sports competition. Our teams have wrapped up another successful spring planting season, putting over 2.3 million seedlings into the ground. This work is part of an ongoing commitment that sees Western plant an average of over 4 million trees annually across B.C.’s coastal forests.

One of Vancouver’s largest and much-beloved, Stanley Park, is getting a boost from Western Forest Products, which is contributing seedling trees to help replant and restore the park’s tree canopy. The first seedlings are being planted now, with 65,000 trees set to be planted over the course of the three-year partnership.
