Our teams have wrapped up another successful spring planting season—putting over 2.3 million seedlings into the ground. This work is part of an ongoing commitment that sees Western plant an average of over 4 million trees annually across B.C.’s coastal forests.
Western Teams up with Stanley Park for Tree Planting Initiative
One of Vancouver’s largest and much-beloved, Stanley Park, is getting a boost from Western Forest Products, which is contributing seedling trees to help replant and restore the park’s tree canopy. The first seedlings are being planted now, with 65,000 trees set to be planted over the course of the three-year partnership.

Western Forest Products has been named one of British Columbia’s Top Employers in 2025, according to the annual list determined by editors at Mediacorp Canada. Now in its 20th year, B.C.’s Top Employers is a special designation awarded to employers who lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
